Web Developer (full stack)

CONTEXT

For more than 10 years, the Projets Miiro inc team. (Miiro) ensures the production and distribution of online training. Drawing on her experience, she has developed, over the years, collaborative agreements with various professional orders including: the Quebec Bar School, CPA Quebec, the CIQ, the OAQ, the OPPQ, the OPQ, etc. . Taking advantage of its notoriety, Miiro is currently developing projects for the education sectors (training for teachers, for uncertified teachers, for students, to support Frenchization), mental health, leadership , insurance as well as in the industrial sector. Hundreds of training courses have therefore been produced and passed through Miiro.

Always on the lookout for the opportunities offered by new technologies, Miiro has initiated the use of XR (Augmented and Virtual Reality) in technical and professional training contexts. The initial objective, regarding the development of these new projects, is the democratization of solutions. In other words: Offering effective and affordable solutions for SMEs and industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

It is therefore with a view to development and growth that we are looking for an additional full-stack web developer for our digital transformation team. The successful candidate must be able to integrate the team in its responsibilities in terms of development/maintenance of IT infrastructures as well as in the development of the new distribution and learning platform.< /p>

The role and main responsibilities linked to this position will evolve according to the growth and directions of the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Be Canadian and under 30 years old (for subsidy constraints);
• Hold a DEC or Baccalaureate in computer science and/or relevant training and experience in business;
• Have between a few months and 3 years of experience;
• Knowledge of Web development (Frontend/Backend);
• Basic knowledge of Amazon (AWS) and Microsoft cloud computing environments as well as their main software solutions and development environments such as Linux, virtual machine (VM) and Bitbucket or git;
• Minimum knowledge of tools: PHP, JavaScript, sql/mySql, HTML, CSS, LAMP, Apache.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, SharePoint Online tools;
• Knowledge of Prestashop an asset;
• Knowledge of Articulate 360 software (Storyline) an asset;
• Understanding of the stages of video production (screenwriting, storyboard, production and post-production, editing) an asset.

PROFILE WANTED

• Be very autonomous, motivated, creative, curious and eager to learn;
• Ability to work in a team (internal and external);
• Communicate effectively in French both orally and in writing;
• Communicate in English, functional level;
• Sense of organization and priority management allowing work on several files simultaneously.
