Specialized Technician – Victron Energy Systems
Volts Énergies – Laval, QC
Volts Énergies is looking for a Specialized Technician in Victron Energy Systems to join its growing team. The position involves working on solar, battery, and hybrid system projects for residential, commercial, and off-grid applications.
Responsibilities
-
Install, configure, and commission Victron Energy systems (MultiPlus/Quattro, MPPT, Cerbo GX, Lynx, lithium batteries, Orion DC-DC, etc.)
-
Program, monitor, and diagnose systems via VictronConnect and VRM
-
Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support on-site and remotely
-
Read and interpret DC and AC electrical diagrams
-
Collaborate with the engineering and project management team
-
Train clients and partners on the use of the systems
-
Write technical reports and intervention follow-ups
Desired Profile
-
Training in electricity, electromechanics, or renewable energy
-
Experience with Victron Energy products (major asset)
-
Solid knowledge of 12V / 24V / 48V DC and 120/240 VAC
systems -
Experience with the Lithium batteries (BMS, communications, security)
-
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems
-
Autonomy, rigor, and team spirit
-
Valid driver's license
Strengths
-
Victron Energy Certification (or in progress)
-
Experience in off-grid solar, RV, marine, or hybrid systems
-
Knowledge of the Electrical Code and CSA standards
-
Bilingual French/English
