Your team:

As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our journey to become a more customer-centric organization. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals, working on various agile projects aimed at analyzing process requirements and gaining valuable insights into our business operations.

Your role:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for effective collaboration between IT and the business units/functions. He/she provides business advice on IT related projects and initiatives in line with evolving business needs and opportunities. The person will also be responsible for facilitating the project prioritization process with the assigned business process managers.

The person will join the R&D delivery team and will be responsible for managing and coordinating project activities while also helping during the execution.  He/She will facilitate the team members’ cooperation, enhances the team’s performance and synergy to efficiently meet customers’ needs and expectations.

We need you for:

  • Business Process Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Process Managers to review and analyze process demands, understand business operations, and anticipate the needs of business stakeholders.
  • IT Solutions Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for business units, providing expertise on IT solution opportunities and potential investments and representing the interests of the business in IT initiatives.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Effectively manage project activities, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure the timely execution of IT solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Process Efficiency & Standards Compliance: Facilitate the prioritization and intake of IT projects, ensuring adherence to standards while estimating requirements for future IT solutions based on predefined criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain regular communication of business needs and project priorities, collaborating with various IT teams to uphold the overall voice of the business within IT operations.
  • Customer Satisfaction Focus: Conduct follow-ups with business partners to gauge satisfaction levels, fostering a sustainable, collaborative relationship built on trust and transparency.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information System, or any related discipline. A degree in Business Administration would be an asset.
  • You have 10 years of experience in major Application Software project implementation/Portfolio Management.
  • You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
  • You have knowledge of R&D Industry Standards would be an asset.
  • Experience in working in global and multicultural environment.
  • Experience in managing projects in Lean and Agile methodology and experience in IT Project Management or Process Redesign.
