We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems & Network Administrator to oversee the management, maintenance, and security of our organization's IT infrastructure in North America. This role will rely on the guidance from the Head of IT and Head of Operations in VuWall & G&D. This role will also involve administering and supporting our ERP and CRM platforms, ensuring their efficient performance and integration with business processes. Additionally, this role will combine systems administration with general IT support, including troubleshooting and assisting employees in North America with their IT-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, IT helpdesk services, and hardware purchasing while ensuring overall IT functionality and support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems Administration, Helpdesk & Microsoft 365 Support:

  • Microsoft 365 Administration & Support:
    • Administer and configure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft EntraID, Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook for seamless collaboration.
    • Manage and maintain user accounts, devices, licenses, and permissions using the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 services, including email delivery, Teams collaboration, and SharePoint site management.
  • General IT Helpdesk & Support:
    • Provide first and second-level IT helpdesk support for employees in North America, addressing technical issues such as hardware malfunctions, software errors, and user access issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and network connectivity, with a focus on timely resolution to minimize downtime.
    • Provide phone support for troubleshooting mobile devices, including setting up phones, troubleshooting call quality, and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Hardware Support & Purchasing:
    •  Manage IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and network devices.
    • Coordinate the purchasing of IT hardware (e.g., laptops, monitors, mobile phones, and peripherals) for employees across North America, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • User Account Management:
    • Create, modify, and disable user accounts for various systems, including Microsoft 365, ERP, and CRM. Ensure users have appropriate permissions and access rights.
    • Assist with managing user access controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and security standards.

Network Administration:

  • Network Design & Management
    • Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and virtual private networks (VPN) for secure and efficient communications.
    • Configure and manage network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to maintain high-performance network infrastructure.
  • Network Security:
    • Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect systems from internal and external threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
    • Configure and manage network security policies, ensuring secure communication and compliance with security standards.
    • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security audits of the network.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:
    • Provide troubleshooting support for network-related issues, including connectivity, bandwidth, and latency problems.
    • Perform root cause analysis and resolve network incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  •  Performance Monitoring:
    • Use network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) to track network health, bandwidth utilization, and potential issues, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Ensure network uptime by performing preventive maintenance and proactive monitoring.
  • ERP Administration:
    • User Management & Access Control:
      •  Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the ERP system. Ensure compliance with internal policies and data security regulations.
  • ERP Troubleshooting & Support:
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP-related issues. Collaborate with Head of Operations for system optimization and issue resolution.

CRM Administration:

  • User Support & Training
    • Provide user support for CRM users and manage user permissions. Offer training to employees on CRM best practices and new features.
  • CRM Data Management:
    • Ensure accurate data entry, data integrity, and data migration within CRM systems. Develop and enforce data management policies.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Create custom reports, dashboards, and metrics within the CRM system to support business decision-making. Monitor user activity and system performance to ensure optimal utilization.

WHAT A GREAT FIT LOOKS LIKE:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or AV/IT customer service.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID).

  • Strong grasp of network connectivity, security protocols, and the ability to diagnose AV-related network issues.

  • Experience supporting end-users (remote & on-site) and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting desktop/laptop environments, mobile devices, printers, and VPN access.

  • Familiar with ERP/CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central, including user access and support.

  • Hands-on experience with IT asset management, procurement, and device setup.

  • Comfortable managing IT helpdesk tickets

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot complex technical issues

    independently.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

    and stakeholders.

  • Willing to travel occasionally (10%) to resolve IT issues in Atlanta or Houston offices.

  • Multilingual capabilities (e.g., French or Spanish) considered an asset.

  • Solid understanding of audio-visual hardware, including video walls, projectors, displays,

    encoders, and decoder will be considered an asset.
