IT Support Technician (CT)

IT Support Technician (CT) City: Vancouver

Job Summary

Reporting to the IT Services Manager, the IT Support Technician will provide first-level technical support to internal users. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting computer problems, maintaining computer equipment, and managing incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the proper functioning of technological infrastructures.
  • Manage user incidents and requests, while respecting service levels.
  • Install, configure and update software and applications.
  • Install and maintain computer equipment (computers, printers, etc.).
  • Carry out the reorganization of computer equipment.
  • Document installation procedures.
  • Diagnose, prioritize and resolve IT problems.
  • Participate in a 24/7 support rotation.
  • Assist the main network administrator.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in user support.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments, Windows operating systems, virtualization tools and office software.
  • Knowledge of computer networks and Cisco equipment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.*
