As an Implementation Specialist, your main responsibilities will be as follow:

  • Help external customers implement technical systems, software and hardware of GESTAL solutions;
  • Evaluate use cases and customer needs to develop configurations that support business processes;
  • Define and execute delivery and implementation plans;
  • Test and troubleshoot final system configuration;
  • Provide training and support to end users during and after implementation;
  • Manage, diagnose and resolve technical incidents that may arise during the installation, start-up, maintenance and mechanical/electronic repair of GESTAL products and systems;
  • Effectively document technical product issues while working collaboratively with QA and R&D to improve JYGA & GESTAL products;
  • Help customers use the hardware and software components of GESTAL and JYGA products remotely or on site;
  • Document troubleshooting steps and techniques to contribute to the JYGA knowledge management database;
  • Actively participate in cross-functional Research and Development teams to contribute to the technological evolution of GESTAL and JYGA products;
  • May participate in pre-sales product demonstration or assist in scoping projects or developing proposals.

Skills sought

  • DEC in the agricultural field and or equivalence of relevant experience;
  • Minimum ~2 years of experience in agriculture;
  • Action-oriented, resourceful, collaborative, autonomous and passionate about technology and the pork industry;
  • Able to work in an agricultural environment up to 80% of the time;
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within North America
  • Valid driver's license and passport;

Nice to have

  • DEC in IT (Network Management, Infrastructure, Computer Support) or equivalent/relevant experience;
  • Other language(s) spoken, because our customers are present in more than 35 countries! (English, Spanish, German, Vietnamese, Chinese)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technical customer service environment, with proven technical troubleshooting skills, documentation methods and techniques.
