Fullstack Tech Lead

Founded in 2014, Techso has built a reputation for the quality of its projects delivered to prestigious customers across a range of sectors including automotive, aerospace, events, watchmaking, finance and many others.

Techso is looking to expand its DEV team. You will be working as a fullstack Teach Lead to meet the needs of our Montreal-based customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
• Mentor and guide a team of software developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design are followed
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and performance standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions

Required skills

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development with a solid understanding of software engineering principles
• Experience in leading and managing development teams
• Proficiency in Java and Typescript programming languages with Springboot and NodeJS/Express.JS frameworks
• Proficiency in the Vue.JS front-end framework
• Solid knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Knowledge of Rabbit MQ - an asset
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools - an asset
• Good communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken, as some of your customers will be French or English-speaking
