IT, infrastructure and networks technician (97041)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform infrastructure management
  • Configure/update/replace physical servers according to replacement schedules
  • Configure/update/replace switches/access points and firewalls
  • Maintain the site's IPAM (IP Asset Management) documentation as required by Safran
  • Manage and maintain the telephone system (PBX)
  • Maintain the virtual environment (VMware)

  • Perform network management

  • Management of firewall and switch rules and interfaces

  • Create and manage VLANs

  • Install/configure and manage Microsoft Windows servers and Microsoft SQL servers.

  • Configure and install manufacturing engineering software (Catia, Delmia, Metrologic, Smarteam and PLM, 3D Experience) according to the current version used by the employee

  • Ensuring the security of industrial information systems

  • Inventory management

  • Implementation of detection and resilience measures

  • Provide support to the level 1 technician, as needed

  • Support and answer questions from the Helpdesk technician in carrying out their tasks related to the IT department. Replace the Helpdesk technician during absence or vacation.

Requirements:

  • DEC in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, IT security, server management and telecommunications infrastructure management
  • Bilingualism (French and English both spoken and written)
  • Excellent ability to diagnose computer problems
  • Experience in configuring switches and firewalls (VLAN, Rules).
  • Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, TPC/IP, VOIP services
  • Knowledge of the different editions and versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Knowledge of server virtualization (VMWare)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL servers
  • Spirit of analysis, initiative and commitment.
  • Time and priority management
  • Sense of customer service
  • Computer science certificate an asset
