The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a self motivated, strategic thinker with an extensive understanding of the electronics manufacturing service industry and a proven track record in business development.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:
- You will own the business development strategy and mission for business execution within the Quebec region and immediate surrounding areas;
- You will drive to exceed assigned revenue and operating profit objectives;
- You will provide coaching, development, direction, support and market intelligence for direct and indirect Kontron team members;
- You will own and lead the account management for business within the Quebec region and immediate surrounding areas for assigned projects with select existing named accounts and new customers;
- You will identify influencers and key decision makers within the account, establish close relationships;
- You will drive Kontron leadership relationships with customers and gain competitive market intelligence;
- You will manage the overall customer relationship process and coach others to follow said process;
- You will investigate and recommend potential new qualifying opportunities;
- You will collaborate directly and indirectly with North American and Global sales teams to support ‘’Market Maker’’ acquisitions;
- All other related tasks.
YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field;
- Experience: Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales, marketing and professional services, preference will be given to candidates with sales experience within the electronics manufacturing industries or contract manufacturing fields;
- Profile: Technical and business disciplines strongly preferred, solid leadership presence and emotional intelligence, superb interpersonal skills and integrity, strong negotiating competence, familiar and experience with business contract review process, solid strategic thinker that can switch to tactical issues and execution quickly, enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment, able to develop and maintain business plans, marketing plans and budgets, brings a sense of vision, is strategic and future-oriented in thinking, brings innovative thinking to opportunities and fosters creativity throughout the organization, goal oriented and able to keep focussed, remains calm and objective during challenging times, continually looks for alternative strategies when the business plan is not delivering results, maintains and adopts Kontron’s positive culture, passionate about his/her work and energized by a challenge, able to deal effectively with numerous deadlines, communication, interpersonal, relationship management and professional sales skills, demonstrates ability to communicate at a CX level;
- Traveling: Travel required, primarily within Quebec and Eastern Ontario, travel up to 20%-40%. Travel will include visiting customers and trade shows;
- Languages: French and English (spoken and written) required to communicate with customers in Canada and the Northeast US market;
- Other: Hybrid position with remote home-based and working in colocations in Boisbriand, Quebec and Cornwall, Ontario.
