PLM solutions architect

A global leader in digital transformation, Techso is a fast-growing company offering consulting services in three areas of expertise: technology infrastructure management (IT), application development (AD), and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Founded in 2014, Techso has built a reputation for the quality of its projects delivered to prestigious clients in various sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, events, watchmaking, finance, and many others.

Techso is looking to expand its product lifecycle management (PLM) team. You will work as a PLM Architect to advise, define, and deliver solutions for major projects in Montreal, France, or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Determine the architecture of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and the inherent security of the project
• Analyze the implementation action plan and be able to make improvements
• Create specifications associated with the implementation action plan (functional specifications, data model definition, definition of exchange interfaces with third-party systems)
• Define the technical requirements necessary for the proper functioning of the systems
• Study and design the business processes proposed by users
• Actively participate in the review and approval of deliverables, such as reviews code, test plans, etc.
• Contribute to technical support, troubleshooting, and system updates, in collaboration with the maintenance and support team
• Manage a technical team and ensure the quality of system development

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or computer science
• You have at least 10 years' experience in product lifecycle management (PLM)
• You have solid knowledge of one or more market solutions (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, etc.)
• You have already led meetings with various groups within the organization to clarify needs and the deployment of selected solutions
• You have experience managing an offshore team
• You have been able to develop in an environment Agile/Scrum
• You are able to communicate in English and French, both written and spoken, since some of your clients will be English-speaking or French-speaking.
