As a Solutions Architect – Information Security, you will be a strategic player within our IT team. You will be responsible for developing, evolving, and implementing robust security solutions that support Metro's strategic direction. Your expertise will help you meet the company's needs while ensuring the protection of its information assets.

Mobility between different sites (Laval, Montreal, Varennes, Ontario)
Design, configure, test, and deploy information security tools and solutions.
Act as an expert consultant and, if necessary, trainer for IT teams and security-related competence centers.
Analyze business needs and recommend secure technology solutions tailored to the objectives of internal clients.
Conduct ongoing technology monitoring to monitor market developments and adjust security solutions accordingly.
Develop security architecture guidelines, practices, and approaches to support the company's strategic objectives.
Maintain security architecture documentation up to date and coordinate its development with stakeholders.
Actively participate in various IT projects and change management, including acceptance testing and post-implementation support.
Ensure the quality of security solutions by planning, coordinating, and conducting testing and validation activities.
Provide specialized support to various areas of the organization for the use and configuration of security tools.
Participate in the review and optimization of security processes, work methods, and communication plans.
Contribute to the harmonization of processes across various departments. systems, while adhering to company standards and policies.
Collaborate closely with IT departments, business units, external consultants, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in information security
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and standards
Preferred professional certifications: CISSP, CEH, GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GPEN)
General technical understanding (networking, operating systems, development, databases, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Bilingualism French/English required (frequent interactions with English-speaking partners)
Available for occasional travel between Metro sites
