The challenges that await you:
The incumbent supports users of the Public Works Department in the use of the various IT equipment, software and vehicular IT equipment (computer and its support, modem, GPS, telemetry, etc.), and this, by various tools and means, such as software usage monitoring, training, software and equipment, entering information into the appropriate software. He performs the installation, removal and preventive maintenance of vehicular computer equipment.
The incumbent reports, if necessary and according to the established procedure, problems to the Systems and Technologies Department. He is called upon to travel to the various offices of the Public Works department and to work both inside and outside offices, including suppliers' offices and construction sites.
The profile sought:
- Have a college diploma in computer science or electronics or electrotechnics or training relevant to the function;
- Have eighteen (18) months of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of Cypress cellular modems;
- Knowledge of RFID technologies;
- Have a class 5 driver's license that meets the requirements of the Automobile Insurance Company of Quebec.
