NV-09We're looking for a systems administrator for our Documentum squad. The team is growing and the number of products is on the rise. We therefore need a senior administrator to support our team of operators.As a systems administrator, Documentum, you contribute to IT efficiency in accordance with the organization's needs. You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives related to incident prevention, corrective action, IT infrastructure updates, rollout and post-rollout. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require in-depth knowledge of your field.You serve as a technical specialist in IT Foundations shared services. You are responsible for operations, implementation and maintenance. You proactively oversee technological platforms. You contribute to software and ecosystem development initiatives. You also support the development teams, centre or expertise and business projects.You serve as a resource person for your unit, dedicated clients and partners.

Additional responsabilities

  • Advise, according to your expertise, the organization's various departments on business development and the possibilities offered by technology.

  • Carry out preparation activities for IT service implementation requests and rollouts.

  • Help improve business continuity by developing, implementing and supporting backup systems.

  • Develop tools and scripts for automating system monitoring and verification tasks, and carry out post-implementation follow-ups to ensure system availability.

  • Monitor IT service quality and quickly identify situations that could jeopardize the stability of cloud computing environments by analyzing recurring incidents, identifying those approaching critical status and making recommendations.

  • Maintain close ties with clients to constantly gauge service satisfaction and serve as their contact person for complaints. Document complaints, communicate the information partners need to deliver a permanent solution that the client finds satisfactory, and validate and execute action plans.

  • Ensure that action plans are produced and implemented to correct problems, and support advisors in resolving problems or incidents of moderate to high complexity.

  • Participate in change management with the goal of ensuring those initiating the change meet required service levels and standards. Produce, collect and distribute information relating to interventions and changes.

  • Identify situations that could significantly affect environmental quality and stability, and make recommendations based on the impacts and risks or opportunities for improvement associated with change management.

  • Contribute to projects and initiatives in your area of expertise.

  • Diagnose and solve problems in a 24/7 critical operations environment.

  • Prepare development environments.

  • Support project teams in their use of technological platforms in a development environment.

  • Validate and plan the integration and implementation of solutions.

  • Optimize system performance and reliability.

  • Automate and implement application monitoring.

  • Secure the platform's components.

  • Participate in capacity and performance testing.

Other working condition

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Experience in Documentum support and implementation (an asset)

  • Experience in the support and implementation of one or several of the following technologies: Websphere, Tomcat, Liferay, SiteMinder, Layer 7

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of the Linux operating system

  • Knowledge of automation tools (Chef, Autosys, Script, Ansible, etc.)
