With pan-Canadian activities and a presence in the U.S., the Group is an important player in numerous market segments.This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.The incumbent will plan, implement and ensure the stable and cost-effective operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes planning, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the infrastructure and supporting processes. This role operates in a mixed of in-house and outsourced IT services environment.


Provide operational support, maintenance and provisioning for systems hardware, software and other infrastructure. Deliver infrastructure support services (Wintel/Unix/VMware/Storage) in collaboration with Network analysts, and DBA's.Execute operating efficiency improvements which deliver cost savings and optimal system performance. Provide recommendations to the IT leadership regarding suggested investments and service changes, including lifecycle management.Helps establish and monitors key performance indicators, taking effective action where results are below internal and vendor SLA targets. Resolve system incidents where applicable and execute maintenance and support of the LBC infrastructure environment through the LBC change management best practices.Ensures that effective ITIL-based best practices are maintained for interactions with support vendors. Participate of business and IT projects.


ºUniversity Degree in a technical or business-related discipline and 6-10 years of related experience orºCollege Diploma in a technical or business-related discipline and 9-12 years of related experience. º3-5 years experience with design, deploy and administration of VMware infrastructure, HW provisioning and Windows server 2016, 2019 and RH LinuxºVMware & Storage certificationºExperience in a 24x7 operating environment. ºCloud environment migration & management experience ºSenior level understanding of enterprise database environments such as Oracle and SQL.ºExperience managing or delivering IT services and operations in a mixed managed environment. including both in-house managed services and outsourced and managed services environments. ºExperience applying ITIL best practices is an asset. ºKnowledge of and demonstrated ability in core competencies including leadership, , teamwork, adaptability, problem solving, judgement and decision making. ºBilingualism (English/French) communication skills are an asset.OtherºOn call availability.ºAfter hours and weekend implementations management and coordination.
