NV-10As a senior advisor, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization’s needs. You provide leadership to practitioners and development teams on business relations, development projects and complex, innovative strategic initiatives, including updates, incident prevention, quality assurance and post-correction maintenance. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your specialty area. You make recommendations regarding the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for decision-making bodies.

Specifically, you play an active role during minor and major incidents, representing Telecom and Security. You coordinate the management of non‑major incidents with multiple groups and act as the resource person for requesters. You're responsible for organizing the task force as needed, holding scrums on service stability and implementing action plans to ensure system stability.

You produce reports on the stability of systems for which you are responsible, and produce progress reports and action plans in collaboration with partners. You're part of a group dedicated to this function within the organization. You focus on providing 24/7 Level 3 and Level 4 support on a rotating basis for virtual and physical systems such as F5 Telecom, NSX-T, Palo Alto and related technologies.

Additional responsibilites

  • Collaborate on strategic planning in your unit and develop concrete strategies and methods for implementing orientations.

  • Coordinate activities for development and business projects for which you are responsible and recommend required actions while ensuring alignment with the services offered by your unit.

  • Continuously monitor the quality of IT services, and promptly identify situations that could jeopardize IT environment stability, by analyzing and determining the criticality of recurring incidents and making recommendations.

  • Actively participate in the creation of master plans and development plans for IT services, processes and procedures.

  • Coordinate teams and stakeholders during major changes.

  • Represent your unit on various committees serve as an expert in your area of expertise for the management team.

  • Identify areas for improvement, propose and recommend solutions to develop and optimize service, tools, processes and work methods.

  • Be responsible for information integrity and for maintaining an end-to-end vision of the services rendered by partners.

  • Take part in reviewing versions.

  • Help the vulnerability squad to ensure rapid resolution, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

  • Telecommunications experience with F5 (e.g., LTM,GTM, ASM, APM)

  • Experience with middleware

Specific knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of SSL

  • Knowledge of the application infrastructure

  • Knowledge of the Python scripting language

  • Familiarity with NSX-T and Palo Alto firewall solutions

  • Independent speaker, intermediate knowledge of English
