NV-10As Senior Advisor, IT Security Training on the awareness team, you will contribute to the evolution of the organization's security training catalogue for the organization, the improvement of security processes, planning and strategic orientations related to security training. You lead development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives, such as the development of IT security standards and policies. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your specialty area.You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.You will serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for your colleagues and management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead specialized development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the entire organization
  • Advise your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, select solutions for, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Represent your unit before decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins's position when making agreements with external partners and organizations

Specific responsibilities

  • Develop the information security training catalogue
  • Act as senior training designer
  • Prioritize team design and writing activities
  • Align with other team sector leaders
  • Propose educational strategies adapted to the content and target audience
  • Act as an expert in your field for clients and the organization
  • Liaise with the team responsible for overall security training strategies
  • Develop synergies with the Security Office training teams

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of a relevant experience
