Project Coordinator in IT

AKKA is looking for a competent Project Coordinator to take the lead of this major project of ERP Implementation, Oracle Cloud, and provide day-to-day oversight and support of administrative and operational functions in order to achieve project sustainability and success in accordance with defined target, strategies and goals.

Your Role & Main Responsibilities

  • Making sure that your team has the tools they need to execute the project.
  • Creating a project schedule, with milestones, due dates and estimates
  • Working directly with team members
  • Ensure communication and visibility between System Integrator (SI) resources and internal resources
  • Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project
  • Participate in project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Participate in project tasks and resource requirements
  • Update the project plan and report on progress status to upper management
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and System Integrator PM
  • Coordinate project resource and manage budget
  • Ensure project issues, risks and actions are identified and managed properly
  • Manage the development of appropriate documentation required by the projects
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of the project with SI
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Participate in the risk management to minimize project risks
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders (including members and vendors) to ensure project delivery

Your Profile and Skills:

  • Previous working experience as a Project Coordinator (or Project Control Officer) for minimum 10 years
  • Previous working experience in ERP implementation, Oracle Cloud
  • Previous working experience in Hybrid project (Agile – Waterfall)
  • Degree in business administration or similar relevant field
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Knowledge of Devops (an asset)
  • In-depth knowledge of project management and development procedures
  • Hands on experience in budgeting, planning, monitoring and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Attention to details

  • Proficiency in English and French, both verbally and written
