With pan-Canadian activities and a presence in the U.S., the Group is an important player in numerous market segments.This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) at LBC Tech in the planning, execution, control of projects contributing to project delivery within the established deadlines and budgets to the satisfaction of the bank business lines

Responsibilities

º Supports PMO in the application of the methodology and required follow-upsº Performs various financial analyses, such as reconciliations and variance analysesº Supports preparation of budgets and forecasts on projects and track financial project metrics º Build, track, update projects plan, report on progress, efforts consumption trends. Makes proactive recommendations to Project Managers on any issues with remaining efforts to deliver.º Identifies project financial and scheduling issues /Gaps and makes proactive recommendations to Project Managers.

Qualifications

º University degree. Major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Managementº At least 5 years experience in coordination and/or projects control º Advanced knowledge in MS Project and best practices in project management and PMI terms of referenceº Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsº Good understanding of a project life cycleº Teamwork, interpersonal skillsº Demonstrate autonomy and initiativeº Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAssetsº Experience in the Banking sectorº Working experience in an financial analysis roleº Working Experience with Microsoft Project Onlineº EN/FR Bilingualism is a plus but not mandatory
