With pan-Canadian activities and a presence in the U.S., the Group is an important player in numerous market segments.The role is to fill under LBC Tech a subsidiary of the Laurentian Bank Financial Group.Reporting to the Manager, Document and Knowledge Management, the incumbent develops and manages process and procedure documentation and maintains Laurentian Bank's central repository of information including the Document Library, content in "Compass" and User Guides

Responsibilities

Responsibilities/DutiesºGathers, assesses and analyzes information in order to write and update process and procedure documents.ºParticipates in executing scheduled reviews of information and process documentation to ensure it meets business needs.ºCreates and uses tools to enhance his/her productivity and efficiently follow-up on projects.ºParticipates in various projects and mandates that may have a significant impact on profitability and efficiency.ºProvides support to managers and employees by analyzing and replying to requests for information.ºKeeps abreast of the current legislation, as well of Laurentian Bank policies, programs, procedures and financial products and services.ºCarries out any other similar task or general task as required by their position or at their Manager's request.

Qualifications

ºUniversity degree in a related field and 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry or;ºCollege degree in a related field and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industryºExcellent writing, editing and content organization skillsºExcellent written and verbal communication skillsºExceptional knowledge of MS Windows and MS OfficeºKnowledge of standard documentation tools such as MS SharePoint, Adobe Dreamweaver, MS Visio, and screen capture software.ºDetail-oriented and able to work on multiple priorities with deadlinesºComputer programming knowledge would be an assetºAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesºAbility to work well independently and within a teamºBilingualism (French/English) is an asset
