You'll take on the following business challenges:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you are responsible for IT and technical support. You provide customer service to internal and external users in the use of technology and utility tools used by the company. You are in charge of the operation of the computer network:

  • Manage the company's IT fleet
  • Provides technical support to internal and external users
  • Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware and network problems
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and maintains the security of the company's equipment, software, and computer systems
  • Configure, install and maintain computer and telephone workstations
  • Manage company email boxes
  • Diagnostics and resolves performance and capacity issues at the server level
  • Maintains and validates backup and restores data from corporate servers
  • Manages users and their rights in the various systems used by the company according to authorized requests (home-based software, secure sites of insurance companies and other suppliers)
  • Liaises with vendors to order new hardware, working with finance for approval
  • Perform inventory management of assets (equipment, software and enterprise systems)
  • Updates servers and network devices according to defined time periods

Wanted profile:

  • DEC or DEC in computer science or equivalent training
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in IT / technical support
  • Good knowledge of networking
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of MySQL and SQL server (asset)
  • Good knowledge of Ms-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in spoken / written French and functional knowledge of spoken / written English
