Under the authority of the manager, the incumbent ensures planning, management , the realization, the coordination and the control of the parameters of projects in information technologies (IT). Affecting the practices and ways of doing things in all areas of business, the projects under his control have an impact on the service delivery of the entire organization, and the success of the projects influences the image of the Company.
As a planning specialist, he has the mandate to advise, support and orient the sectors with which he works, to plan tasks, to coordinate (in concert with the coordinators) human resources, material, financial and technological essential to the delivery of one or more large-scale projects, at all stages of the project.
To this end, he is called upon to manage projects of a nature technological having a high level of complexity due to the diversity of the directions involved (business and IT), the number of users engaged, the numerous ramifications of technological inter-projects and / or by the impact on the evolution of business practices, thus requiring significant change management.
Having contributors from different business and IT fields, he must immerse himself in diverse business and IT practices, exercise content leadership with the lines business and develop strong cooperation with information technology resources, in particular “scrumasters” who are part of its project team. He also collaborates daily with the resources of the Business Projects Department.
To do this, he uses the best processes and tools in project management (scope, schedule, costs, modification, risks, efforts and capacity, change, training, communication, etc.) to plan optimally and efficiently, and adapt its strategies according to the context of achievement and the parameters to be respected.
Through its corporate involvement, it must ensure a common development of implementation strategies and propose innovative solutions while respecting the directions of senior management.
He is also responsible for drafting the documents necessary for decision-making and reporting. IT accounts. He participates in the DGTI project review committee.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in the field of information technology , in administration or in a discipline relevant to the attributions.
- Hold six (6) years of relevant experience in project management (each year of missing schooling can be compensated by two (2)years of work experience deemed relevant).
- Have in-depth knowledge of principles and techniques in project management.
- Have a good knowledge of specific tools for project management , including MS Project and the Office suite.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the laws, regulations, codes and standards related to fields of activity.
- Demonstrate a great sense of responsibility, a good judgment, ability to plan and organize activities.
- Demonstrate active listening, be customer-oriented and have an ease of communicating with various stakeholders (business and IT).
- Have a great capacity for analysis, synthesis and a good critical sense.
YOUR TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position includes an annual salary of up to $ 88,619 with the exception of overtime. Treatment will vary by skill and experience, according to the scale of the job class.
