NV-09As a functional analyst, as part of the payment modernization program, you work with a DevOps squad and help develop APIs used for processing electronic funds transfers. You contribute to the iterative development of Desjardins Group's new online payment platform.The Electronic Payment Solutions Department is responsible for developing and maintaining several payment solutions used by Desjardins Group's business and personal members. The department works in DevOps mode to develop and support electronic payment applications. It plays a central role in the Payments Canada modernization program, which aims to implement a modern payment system that will offer new opportunities to simplify and improve daily payment transactions. The modernization project involves real-time payments (e.g, Interac transfers), high value payments (e.g., SWIFT transfers) and batch payments (e.g., direct deposits/withdrawals).

Additional responsabilities

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support testing phases, implementation strategies and quality assurance testing; inform decision-making; and monitor the application of management policies and practices. Analyze risks, prepare reports, propose solutions, make recommendations, and provide advice on how to implement recommendations
  • Prepare and recommend action plans and address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
  • Actively help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with software development teams (essential)
  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Experience developing APIs (an asset)
