Reason for the position

The or the holder of the position is primarily responsible for ensuring the performance and integrity of the network infrastructure and telecommunications of the Commission. He or she must also exercise a "consultant" role in his section and direction.

  • Revises and approves the response activities of incidents and requests for change. Validates impact assessments related to patches / solutions. Ensures that deployment and implantation are performed according to processes, controls, etc. (Ex.: Change Management, Production Management).

  • Analysis and interprets alerts and opinions. Performs the maintenance activities of the network infrastructure and ensures the security of the perimeter.

Requirements

Option 1

Hold A Bachelor's degree (Baccalaureate) in Computer Science.

and

have one (1) of the following three Cisco Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Certifications of Two Cisco Specialties
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

option 2

Have a college diploma (DEC) with computer specialization or other relevant specialization or a certificate of collegial studies ( AEC) in computer science or other relevant specialization or a certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.

A combination of 6 years of relevant network administration experience with Cisco technologies

and

have one (1) of the following three Cisco Certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Certifications of Two Cisco Specialties
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

working conditions

  • Syndicated position, hourly wage varying between $ 24.40 and $ 46.24 according to the collective agreement.
