The web developer is responsible for the maintenance, animation, evolution and enrichment of HumanWare websites (web portal, multi-store online store, portal for distributors) as well as the promotion of products on several web platforms both front-end and back-end.

  • Ensure the evolution, updating and security of existing sites on Magento, WordPress, Joomla and CMS proprietary.
  • Find, implement, install and customize plug-ins, extensions and modules according to the technological needs of the company.
  • Analyze new web mandates, make technological choices and give deadlines.
  • Propose and implement new web platforms for the promotion and sale of products.
  • Implement payment methods for the online store according to the particularities of each region.
  • Open new online stores as needed.
  • Add new functionalities to websites and integrate content (images, e-commerce products, newsletters, etc.).
  • Apply best practices for web referencing, remarketing, targeting.
  • Ensure websites conform to accessibility standards for visual impairment.
  • Track AdWords Campaigns and optimize keyword groups.
  • Provide statistics on website traffic and the results of e-marketing campaigns (Google Analytics).
  • Manage web traffic to HumanWare websites.
  • Optimize websites: identify technical issues, find ways to drive traffic, build customer loyalty, and increase website visibility on the web.
  • Respond to user emails about technical issues and web orders.
  • Participate in the recovery of websites after computer attacks or web server problems.
  • Assist customer service with other web platforms.
  • Create and update e-marketing mailing lists.


  • Hold a BAC or DEC in computer science
  • 3 years of website development experience
  • Excellent command of oral and written French and English
  • Experience with Magento 1.9, WordPress and Joomla
  • Back End / Front End development experience
  • Knowledge of PHP, Ajax, HTML (including CSS and Javascript) and databases (My SQL)
  • Knowledge of W3C standards, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, SEO / SEM
  • Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator software
  • Ability to analyze and make technological choices
  • Ability to manage multiple folders simultaneously and adapt to unexpected events
  • Creative and marketing-oriented
  • Significant interest for new technologies
  • Autonomous, versatile, resourceful and organized
  • Available to move to the head office (Drummondville) on a weekly basis
