We drive results by placing our customers first, making the better choice, acting courageously, and believing everyone belongs.This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.The incumbent analyzes personal credit files of existing clients identified as higher risk and negotiates and implements solutions with clients and financial advisors to reduce the overall risk. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring the progress of individual files and following up to ensure required actions are taken.


ºAnalyze credit accounts that have elevated risk, assess the client's current financial stability and work with client directly or his/her financial advisor to find solutions to address the risk within timeframes acceptable to the bank ºRender decisions or make recommendations that respect the policies and guidelines and the risk appetite of the bankºActively adhere to established control procedures including pipeline management, quality control, and data integrity responsibilities to meet personal and team targetsºDemonstrate ownership of the customer experience through entire process by proactively problem solving and maintaining effective communication with the various stakeholdersºParticipate and support any external mailings/ other communication to designated cohort of clients with elevated riskºActively participate as a SME and present improvement ideas that can impact profitability, efficiency and client experienceºMaintain up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and industry trendsºWork independently with minimal guidanceºPerform any other similar or general duties as required.


Requirements ºUndergraduate university education in a relevant field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Specific SkillsºStrong analytical abilities including ability to assess more complex client profilesºExcellent negotiating skillsºExcellent knowledge of consumer credit including credit reports and principals of lendingºStrong organizational skills and attention to detailºStrong written and verbal communication skillsºStrong competency and comfort utilizing technologyºStrong Customer service skills ºBilingualism is preferred
